Hello, just a little introduction about myself.
The holistic approach to health resonates profoundly with what I believe, creating balance between body, mind and soul as they are not independent, they are intertwined and affect one another significantly.
Relaxation and wellbeing are not identical for each person, my treatment approaches reflect this and are immensely individualised for the unique needs of each person.

One of the areas that I have received advanced training in is Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD). As with MLD (Manual Lymph Drainage), RLD can be used to treat other conditions aside from Secondary Lymphoedema. RLD is discreet and focuses solely on the feet or hands by encouraging the flow of fluid through the manipulation of lymphatic reflex points. Being a member of the association of reflexologists gives you assurance of my training and practices.

I hadn't tried reflexology before, but was bought a voucher as a gift by my wife and found Merel's treatment to be extremely calming and relaxing. Her feedback was also very insightful; highly recommended!
I have had reflexology many times before and I would describe Merel as a natural healer. She is intuitive and seems naturally drawn to what your body needs to heal. Merel is kind and giving and makes you feel very much at ease. I suffer with migraines and I am currently on a course of treatments with her to help decrease them. I can honestly say even my first treatment made a massive difference. It is important to mention that a one off treatment is not enough to heal a chronic condition and sometimes needs a course of treatments. I have trust in Merel and would recommend her highly.
Merel is a lovely, gentle person and is relaxing just to be around, that's before you even start the treatment. Ideally I'd have her sat at the end of my bed ready to give me a foot massage every night before I go to sleep, but apparently she's busy so in the meantime I'll probably just rebook!
I had the privilege to have some reflexology done by Merel. All I can say is that Merel put you at ease during the treatment. Very professional and so relaxing. Also it was interesting Merel 's comments while she was doing reflexology on my feet. So many things Merel can detect just by touching and massaging my feet. I will book more sessions for 2015. Whilst I do appreciate that emergencies crop up from time to time and appointments have to be cancelled, please be aware that I do reserve the right to charge £20.00 per missed appointment with less than 24 hours notice. I may ask for payment in advance for any future sessions which is non refundable. Whilst these policies are not nice to enforce, they are a necessity to ensure all my business running costs are still covered despite the income lost from a cancelled appointment. Thank you.
Merel regularly visits clients in their homes across Surrey and Hampshire. You can book a home visit to any of the following areas:
Aldershot, Fleet, Farnham, Aldershot, Alton, Farnborough, Hook, Yateley, Hartley Wintney, Camberley, Sandhurst and surrounding areas.
An additional £10 will be added for home visits over 10 miles / 16 km from the clinic, to cover the extra travel expenses.
